Job Overview

We are looking for a PHP Developer with strong experience in PHP application development and MySQL databases. The role involves developing and maintaining business applications, troubleshooting application and database issues, building integrations, and improving system performance and reliability.

Experience with GLPI / ITSM platforms is an advantage, but candidates with strong PHP and database experience who are willing to learn GLPI are also encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance PHP-based applications and systems.
• Design, develop, and optimize MySQL databases, queries, and stored procedures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application, database, and system-related issues.
• Analyze technical problems, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• Customize and extend GLPI functionalities based on business requirements.
• Develop and maintain APIs and system integrations where required.
• Debug existing applications and improve application performance and reliability.
• Write clean, maintainable, secure, and well-documented code.
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• Contribute to continuous improvements in system performance, security, and usability.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of hands-on PHP development experience.
• Strong knowledge of MySQL, including database design, SQL queries, optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Strong programming fundamentals and analytical/problem-solving skills.
• Experience in debugging and resolving complex technical issues.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks.
• Good understanding of application development and software engineering practices.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with GLPI / ITSM platforms.
• Experience with GLPI customization, plugins, workflows, or integrations.
• Knowledge of Linux environments.
• Experience with Apache or Nginx web servers.
• Familiarity with Git / version control systems.
• Understanding of ITSM concepts and service desk systems.
• Experience developing or consuming REST APIs.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field is preferred.
• 3+ years of professional PHP development experience.
• Experience working with databases, particularly MySQL.
• GLPI experience is a plus but not mandatory.
