Job Description:

Responsible for preparing detailed technical and production drawings for furniture products and supporting new product development. The role will work closely with Engineering, Production, and other departments to ensure designs are practical, accurate, and suitable for manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

· Prepare detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for furniture products and components.

· Prepare production drawings with accurate dimensions, materials, hardware, construction details, and assembly information.

· Review and update drawings according to customer requirements, design changes, and production feedback.

· Ensure drawings are suitable for production, CNC machining, cutting, drilling, and assembly processes.

· Work closely with Engineering and Production to resolve technical and drawing-related issues.

· Assist in new furniture product development, prototypes, BOM, and material specifications.

· Coordinate with suppliers when required to clarify technical specifications and drawings.

· Maintain proper filing and control of drawings, revisions, and technical documents.

Requirements:

· Diploma/Certificate in Drafting, Engineering, Furniture Design, or a related field.

· Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as a Draughtsman or Senior Draughtsman; furniture manufacturing experience is preferred.

· Proficient in AutoCAD and/or other CAD software.

· Good knowledge of furniture construction, materials, hardware, and manufacturing processes.

· Knowledge of CNC machining and production processes is an added advantage.

· Able to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

· Good attention to detail, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Able to work independently and meet deadlines.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
