We are seeking a responsible and technically capable Site Engineer to assist in the planning, coordination and monitoring of construction activities at the project site. The candidate will work closely with the Project Manager, consultants, contractors and site team to ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, project requirements and scheduled timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in planning, coordinating and monitoring daily site activities and construction progress.

- Assist the Project Manager and site team in ensuring works comply with approved drawings, specifications, method statements and project requirements.

- Review and interpret engineering drawings, plans and technical documents.

- Monitor site progress, workmanship and materials to ensure compliance with project requirements.

- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors and suppliers on site-related matters.

- Assist in resolving technical issues, site problems and construction discrepancies.

- Prepare and maintain site reports, progress updates, inspection records and project documentation.

- Assist with site measurements, material verification and inspection activities.

- Coordinate with the QA/QC team to ensure required inspection and testing are carried out.

- Monitor construction activities and report delays, defects or issues to the Project Manager.

- Assist in tracking project progress, work schedules and material requirements.

- Attend site meetings and assist in following up on technical and project-related matters.

- Assist in coordinating site activities according to approved construction drawings and project schedules.

- Assist with project completion, defect rectification and handover activities.

- Ensure site activities comply with safety, quality and project requirements.

- Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Manager or Management.

Requirements:

- Minimum 1 year of relevant Site Engineer experience; candidates with 2–3 years of experience are preferred.

- Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.

- Good understanding of construction methods, site coordination and engineering practices.

- Able to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and technical documents.

- Experience coordinating with consultants, contractors, subcontractors and suppliers.

- Good knowledge of site documentation, progress monitoring and construction activities.

- Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving and teamwork skills.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word; AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage.

- Able to work independently in a site-based environment.

- Based in Kulim or willing to work in Kulim, Kedah.

- Willing to travel to project sites when required.

Pay: RM5,500.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
