Working hours: Monday to Friday (9:00 AM to 6:00 PM)

Position Summary

We are looking for a full-time Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Engineers to plan, design and administer mechanical and electrical engineering projects for building services developments. We would love to hear from you, if you are keen to further develop your technical and professional skills and contribute to engineering design and building services project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, design and administer contract/project of mechanical and electrical engineering works for building service including:

• Schematic, conceptual and detailed design of M&E systems.
• Preparation of tender drawings, specifications and cost estimates.
• Preparation of technical reports, tender evaluations and project documentation.
• Attend project meetings, site meetings and site inspections.
• Liaise and coordinate with clients, architects, consultants, contractors and relevant authorities on project matters.
• Review of shop drawings, material submissions and technical submissions.
• Contract administration and project coordination.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards and statutory requirements.
• Testing and commissioning of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Any other duties assigned in relation to project execution and delivery.

Key Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in M&E building services consultancy.
• Candidates with extensive experience may be considered for a Senior-level position.
• Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Building Services Engineering.
• Good knowledge of engineering design and building services systems.
• Familiarity with local codes of practice and authority requirements will be an added advantage.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and BIM/Revit software will be an added advantage.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to work independently, self-motivated and resourceful.
• A proactive team player with strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
