Job Summary
We are looking for a QA/QC Engineer to support and maintain quality standards in our client's precast concrete manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspections, testing, quality documentation, non-conformance management and ensuring that precast concrete products meet approved drawings, specifications and quality requirements.

Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in construction, preferably in precast concrete manufacturing.
- Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience in precast production, precast yards, or construction projects involving RC works are welcome to apply. Candidates with relevant industry experience will also be considered.
- Experience in QA/QC inspection and quality control will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD is an added advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with people at different levels.
- Strong attention to detail and a quality-focused mindset.
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good problem-solving and organisational skills.
- Team player with a positive and proactive attitude.
Key Responsibilities
- Report to the QA/QC Manager and support the implementation of the company’s quality control system.
- Plan, coordinate and conduct inspections and testing in accordance with approved quality procedures and schedules.
- Participate in scheduled and unscheduled inspections with internal and external parties when required.
- Conduct 100% physical inspection at post-pour and pre-delivery stages to ensure products meet the required quality standards.
- Monitor and maintain proper calibration records for inspection and testing equipment.
- Prepare, update, compile and submit relevant inspection and testing records and quality documentation.
- Ensure the quality of precast concrete units and Hollow Core Slabs complies with approved shop drawings, work instructions, casting programmes and quality control procedures.
- Review work procedures and method statements to ensure compliance with project and quality requirements.
- Monitor production activities and ensure workers follow approved work methods and quality procedures.
- Raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and assist in investigating corrective actions and ensuring timely closure.
- Provide quality-related guidance and training to workers when required.
- Ensure compliance with relevant ISO standards, company procedures and quality requirements.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management.
