About the role

This is a hands-on owner role for someone who can turn brand goals into a clear content plan, make the work happen, and learn from performance. You will create and publish content, lead shoots, coordinate contributors, protect quality, and bring useful insights back to the Brand team.

What you will own

• Plan and manage social content across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and YouTube for multiple Lifely brands.
• Create social-first concepts, scripts, copy, carousels, graphics, short-form video, and platform-ready edits.
• Maintain a forward-planned calendar, publish on schedule, manage communities, and surface content gaps early with solutions.
• Lead photoshoots end to end: mood boards, styling, props, products, briefs, talent and location scouting, budget tracking, on-set coordination, feedback, and final assets.
• Deliver weekly and monthly reports that explain performance, show the important insight, and recommend the next action or test.
• Use audience data, trend research, competitor signals, and AI tools to improve ideas, briefs, workflow, and output.
• Coordinate with Product and Operations on samples, stock, and arrival dates, and with agencies, creators, and partner brands on delivery.
• Quality-check every post for brand fit, spelling, grammar, formatting, claims, and platform requirements.

What success looks like

• Within 30 days, the content calendar, production tracker, reporting rhythm, owners, and deadlines are clear and operating.
• At least 90% of approved content and production milestones are delivered on time without repeated reminders.
• Agreed publishing cadence is met, including the current Cushie USA baseline of at least eight videos and eight carousel or graphic posts each month.
• Reports arrive on schedule and lead to clear creative, channel, or workflow decisions.
• Content quality, organic engagement, and social traffic improve against agreed baselines through useful testing and iteration.

Requirements

Must-haves

• Three or more years of hands-on social media and content production, ideally in ecommerce, consumer, home, lifestyle, or retail.
• A portfolio showing strong short-form video, social copy, visual content, and campaign execution.
• Proof that you can lead shoots and coordinate agencies, creators, talent, locations, products, budgets, and deadlines.
• Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and brand judgement.
• Ability to read performance data and turn it into a useful recommendation.
• Reliable project ownership, urgency, clear communication, and proactive problem-solving.
• Practical use of AI tools, with the judgement to improve rather than replace the work.

Strong pluses

• Multi-brand ecommerce or consumer-product experience.
• Furniture, home, family, lifestyle, retail, or direct-to-consumer experience.
• Hands-on use of Canva, CapCut, Adobe tools, Planable, Sprout Social, or similar platforms.
• Creator, influencer, or brand-partnership experience.

Not a fit

• Posting-only coordinators who do not own planning, production, quality, and results.
• Strategy-only profiles who cannot create, publish, and manage delivery hands-on.
• People who need repeated follow-up to complete recurring work or surface risks.
