AstraZeneca is looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused IT Support Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will provide onsite and remote IT support to our employees, helping them stay connected, productive, and focused on what matters most.

You will be a trusted technology partner to our internal customers—resolving technical issues, supporting critical incidents, and continuously improving the way IT services are delivered.

What You’ll Do

• Provide first-level and desktop support for PCs, workstations, mobile devices, software, collaboration tools, and other IT services.
• Deliver professional walk-up, onsite, and remote support to AstraZeneca employees.
• Diagnose, resolve, and manage incidents and service requests using ServiceNow or a similar IT service management platform.
• Support the response and resolution of priority and major incidents affecting the site.
• Assist with device builds, rebuilds, deployment, backups, technology refreshes, and mobile device preparation.
• Support local video conferencing, collaboration, and audio-visual technologies, including Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Cisco video conferencing, Office 365, OneDrive, and Box.
• Perform hardware support activities, including cable patching and replacing hardware components where required.
• Maintain accurate IT asset records and ensure compliance with security and infrastructure standards.
• Act as a site-based point of contact for global technology teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve IT services, simplify processes, and enhance the customer experience.

What We’re Looking For

• At least two years of experience in a similar IT support role. Fresh graduates who are enthusiastic and willing to learn are also encouraged to apply.
• A diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline—or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience supporting users in an enterprise environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Office 365, OneDrive, Box, and video conferencing technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, operating systems, mobile devices, and basic network principles.
• Experience with ServiceNow or another ITSM tool is an advantage.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to users.
• A methodical, analytical, and customer-focused approach to problem solving.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities, including emails, instant messages, face-to-face requests, and ticket queues.
• A proactive, adaptable, and collaborative mindset, with the ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Flexibility to support weekend and after-hours activities when required.
