A role with real range

Every company says it is doing something with AI. Most of them mean a chatbot.

We build AI that does the work. A business comes to us running on spreadsheets and disconnected systems, and we give them something better: the right systems in place, and an AI layer trained on how that business actually operates, so the routine runs itself and people are left with the decisions.

We are a small team and deliberately so. That means this role is not one job, it is the whole arc of how a client comes to us and stays with us. You will sit in the meeting where a client explains their problem. You will write down what they actually need, in enough detail that it can be built. You will test what we build before the client sees it. You will run the account afterwards. And you will help find the next client.

If you want a narrow job with a clear lane, this is not it. If you want to learn how businesses run and how software gets made, a year here is worth three somewhere larger.

This is a full-time work-from-home role. You will be out at client sites for meetings when a project calls for it, and the rest of the time you work from wherever you are set up properly. We care that the work is good and the client is looked after, not where you sit to do it.

What you will do

Understand the client. Sit in meetings with owners and finance managers, ask the questions that get past what they think they want to what they actually need, and write it up so the team can build it.

Check the work. Test what we deliver against what the client asked for. You will be the one who notices that the report is wrong before the client does. You do not need to be able to code. You do need to be thorough, and willing to say something is not right.

Own the relationship. Be the person your clients call. Keep their projects moving, spot what else they need, keep them renewing.

Find the next one. Open conversations with new businesses. Prepare proposals and quotes. This is part of the job, not all of it, and it is where the commission comes from.

What we are looking for

• A degree in business, accounting, finance, or a related field
• Exceptional communication. This is the heart of the job. You will take something complicated, a system, a process, a problem the client has not fully articulated, and explain it back so clearly that everyone in the room understands it the same way. In meetings and in writing, to people who are not technical
• The discipline to write it down. A good part of this job is turning a messy hour-long conversation into a page someone else can act on
• Comfort asking obvious questions in a room full of people who seem to know more than you. Clarity starts with being willing to say you do not follow
• Real interest in AI and how businesses work. You do not need to be technical. You need to be genuinely curious, and willing to learn what these systems do and do not do
• Fresh graduates are welcome. We care more about how you think and listen than about your years of experience

Useful but not required: an internship in consulting, audit, accounting, or anything where you had to document a process; exposure to ERP or accounting software; any experience testing software, even informally; anything you have built or automated yourself, however small.
