We are looking for a reliable and high-energy Café Supervisor to oversee daily operations and lead our floor team. You will ensure excellent customer service, maintain high food and beverage standards, and manage shift workflows. The ideal candidate has barista experience, strong leadership skills, and excels in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Daily Operations & Shift Management

• Open and close the café according to security and operational procedures.• Manage daily cash drawers, register reconciliations, and safe drops.• Delegate floor, kitchen, and barista tasks to team members during shifts.• Monitor service speed, cleanliness, and food presentation during peak hours.

Team Leadership & Training

• Assist in creating weekly staff schedules and managing shift coverage.• Train new baristas and front-of-house staff on recipes, tools, and service standards.• Motivate the team, resolve peer conflicts, and enforce company policies.• Provide constructive feedback to staff to improve performance.

Inventory & Quality Control

• Monitor stock levels of coffee, fresh ingredients, milk, and packaging.• Place weekly vendor orders and check incoming deliveries for accuracy.• Enforce stock rotation (FIFO) to minimize waste and log expired goods.• Ensure all coffee equipment is calibrated and maintained daily.

Customer Experience & Compliance

• Greet customers, take orders during rushes, and handle complaints professionally.• Ensure the café complies with health, safety, and sanitation standards.• Maintain a clean guest seating area, counter space, and restroom facilities.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a senior barista or supervisor in a café/restaurant.• Skills: Proficient in espresso extraction, milk texturing, and POS systems.• Leadership: Proven ability to lead a team and stay calm under pressure.• Communication: Excellent verbal skills to interact with staff and customers.• Flexibility: Available to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays.• Physical: Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 15kg.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
