ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own, maintain, and enhance software platforms supporting product qualifications, validation, and laboratory operations supporting hardware validation activities
• Design, develop, and maintain custom test applications, databases and reporting systems.
• Drive end-to-end integration across software applications, databases, backend services, and user interfaces.
• Troubleshoot system integration, data flow, logging, and test execution issues to minimize operational downtime.
• Collaborate with hardware R&D engineers to understand testing requirements and translate them into software solutions.
• Partner with the Network Support Engineer to improve data transfer performance between workstations and centralized servers, and ensure compliance with cybersecurity requirements at the application and software layers.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and implement automation opportunities that improve productivity and efficiency.

• Test station user interfaces
• Support data processing, storage, visualization, and secure transfer between Singapore and our other sites, from remote test workstations to centralized servers
• Tracking of test samples, accessories and consumables for IP security and control
• Ensure data integrity, availability, and traceability across validation systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications and tools supporting hardware validation activities.
• Enhance and sustain existing test tools, databases, and supporting infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software-related issues impacting test operations.
• Collaborate with hardware R&D engineers to understand testing requirements and translate them into software solutions.
• Develop test automation frameworks and solutions to improve test efficiency and coverage.

REQUIREMENTS

Must-Have Technical Skills

Programming

Strong hands-on programming experience with:

• C
• Python
• C#
• VB 6.0

Database

• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server
• Database development, SQL queries, stored procedures, schema design, and performance optimization

Development & Web Technologies

• Microsoft Visual Studio
• Microsoft IIS Web Server
• ASP.NET

EXPERIENCE

• 5–7+ years of experience in software development, system support, application support, or a similar engineering environment.
• Strong background in software development and troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting production-critical or mission-critical applications.
• Experience working with geographically distributed engineering teams is an advantage.
