Job Title: Safety & Health Officer (SHO)
Location: Pengerang, Johor
Employment Type: Contract (Project Based)

Job Description

We are looking for a qualified Safety & Health Officer to support safety management at our project site in Pengerang. The officer will ensure all work activities comply with safety regulations and company safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) 1994 and related regulations.
• Monitor daily site activities to ensure safe work practices are followed.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits at the project site.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses and prepare reports.
• Conduct safety briefing and toolbox meetings for workers.
• Ensure workers are using proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Prepare safety documentation, reports, and records.
• Liaise with client and relevant authorities on safety matters.
• Promote safety awareness and enforce site safety rules.

Requirements

• Registered Safety & Health Officer with DOSH Malaysia (Green Book holder).
• Diploma or Degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field.
• Minimum 2 to 5 years working experience in construction or industrial projects.
• Familiar with Malaysian safety regulations and site safety management.
• Able to work at project site in Pengerang.
• Good communication and reporting skills.

Job Type: Contract
