About the Role

A Business Development Executive will be primarily responsible for managing RFQs and preparing quotations, maintaining accurate costing and coordinating with cross-functional teams to support and complete customer RFQ and ensure pricing are competitive and profitable.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end RFQ activities, including quotation preparation, submission, and maintaining the RFQ tracking database.

• Prepare, update, and maintain Costing Breakdowns and the Master Price List.

• Prepare cost estimates for tooling refurbishment, insert fabrication, rework, sorting, sample builds, and engineering calculations.

• Request, collect, and maintain up-to-date material pricing and procurement information (including lead times and MOQs) to support RFQ activities.

• Request and consolidate demand forecasts to establish an integrated overview

• Coordinate with Process Engineers to request, collect, and maintain the latest Final Tool Approval (FTA) lists and related documentation for RFQ purposes.

• Collaborate with NPI, SCM, Engineering, Tooling, and Production teams to ensure timely alignment and accurate costing inputs.

• Participate in BCMS and ISO audit activities, ensuring full compliance with relevant company procedures.

• Act as the primary Customer Service / Customer Window, handling customer inquiries, communications, and follow-ups to ensure a responsive and professional point of contact.

• Participate in project bidding activities, including preparation and submission of bid proposals and supporting documentation.

• Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Qualification & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.

• Fresh graduates with internship experience, or 1 year’s experience in costing, finance, or a manufacturing environment, is a plus.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Able to work independently and with minimum supervision.

• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.

• Meticulous and detail-oriented, with a strong focus on data accuracy.

• Able to collaborate and work well with other functional teams for business success.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with costing or ERP systems is an advantage.
