Job Summary
You will supervise construction works by applying statutory codes and quality standards, maintaining accurate site records, and proactively resolving site issues to ensure project progress and compliance.
Responsibilities
Apply statutory codes and regulatory requirements to supervise site activities, ensuring quality control and compliance throughout construction administration and progress reporting
Analyze site conditions and project data to communicate effectively with stakeholders through clear verbal and written reports
Maintain accurate and up-to-date site records documenting work progress and compliance status
Identify, address, and resolve site issues collaboratively to maintain project timelines and foster a positive team environment
Supervise complex construction works, including large span structural steel and precast construction, ensuring adherence to technical specifications and safety standards
Required competencies and certifications
Diploma in Civil, Structural, or Geotechnical discipline from a Polytechnic or equivalent
Accreditation from the Joint Accreditation Committee of IES and ACES
BCSS certificate
Structural Steel Supervisor (StS) certificate
Minimum 10 years of relevant RTO experience, including at least 8 years supervising works of similar complexity
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Experience supervising large span structural steel and precast construction
