About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Fund Accountant to join a dynamic operations team. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality fund accounting services to a portfolio of investment funds while working closely with clients, auditors, custodians, and other stakeholders.

This role is ideal for candidates looking to build their careers within the alternative investment industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the books and records for a portfolio of investment funds.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations.
• Record investment transactions, including purchases, disposals, income, expenses, and capital activities.
• Prepare financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards (IFRS, US GAAP, or Singapore FRS, where applicable).
• Process capital calls, distributions, subscriptions, and redemptions.
• Perform cash, investment, and bank reconciliations.
• Liaise with investment managers, auditors, tax advisors, custodians, and other service providers.
• Support year-end audits and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Assist with process improvement initiatives and ad hoc client requests.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 2–4 years of experience in fund accounting, fund administration, full sets accounting, audit, or financial reporting.
• Experience with private equity, venture capital, hedge funds, or other alternative investment funds is advantageous.
• Good understanding of investment accounting principles and fund structures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
