Job Summary
The Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods, materials, equipment and/or employees to designated locations while ensuring proper vehicle care and compliance with Singapore road safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Drive company vehicles safely and responsibly to assigned destinations.
Transport goods, materials, equipment or personnel as instructed.
Load and unload goods safely and ensure items are properly secured during transportation.
Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects or maintenance issues promptly.
Maintain the vehicle in a clean, safe and roadworthy condition.
Follow assigned routes, schedules and delivery instructions.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, trips, fuel usage and vehicle maintenance where required.
Ensure all delivery documents are properly completed and acknowledged.
Comply with traffic laws, workplace safety requirements and company policies.
Assist with general logistics duties when required.
Report accidents, vehicle breakdowns or other incidents to the supervisor immediately.
Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor or management.
Requirements
Valid Singapore driving licence appropriate for the vehicle assigned.
Relevant driving experience is preferred.
Good knowledge of Singapore roads and traffic regulations.
Responsible, punctual and safety-conscious.
Physically fit to assist with loading and unloading when required.
Able to work independently and follow instructions.
