Job Description Senior Full Stack Engineer

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer with 10 years of hands-on experience to join our dynamic CIB technology team at Standard Chartered Bank The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Java backend development modern JavaScript frameworks particularly React and database technologies with a proven track record of delivering scalable high-performance applications in enterprise environments

Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership Development

• Design develop and maintain fullstack applications using Java JavaScript LIT React and database technologies
• Lead architectural decisions for both clientside and serverside components
• Develop robust RESTful APIs and microservices using JavaSpring Boot and Quarkus
• Build responsive userfriendly frontend applications using LIT Reactjs and modern JavaScript ES6
• Design and optimize database schemas queries and data models
• Implement security best practices and data protection measures
• Ensure code quality through unit testing integration testing and code reviews

Collaboration Mentorship

• Work closely with product owners designers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to the team
• Collaborate with DevOps teams for CICD pipeline implementation and deployment strategies
• Participate in agile development processes and sprint planning

Performance Optimization

• Optimize application performance for both frontend and backend components
• Troubleshoot debug and resolve complex technical issues
• Implement monitoring and logging solutions for production applications
• Ensure scalability and maintainability of applications

Required Qualifications
Experience Education

• 10 years of professional software development experience
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field
• Proven experience in enterprise level application development
