About The Job
- Play a key role in assisting business development activities to drive the growth of profitable revenue streams.
- Identify new business opportunities, nurture client relationships, and support the execution of strategic initiatives to expand market presence.
- Support the General Manager in the planning, development, and implementation of strategies for the company’s engagement across sectors, ensuring the organization is strategically positioned to maximize and leverage business opportunities.
- Assist in business development processes such as tendering, responding to Requests for Quotations/Proposals (RFQs/RFPs), and pitching.
- Assist in the research and development of strategies and plans to identify marketing opportunities and new business prospects.
- Conduct cold calls as appropriate within the assigned market or geographic area to build a pipeline of prospects.
- Participate in meetings with potential clients and stakeholders to understand requirements.
- Set up meetings between client decision-makers and the company’s practice leaders or Principals.
- Work with the team to develop proposals, presentations, and other materials that speak to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives.
- Drive customer engagement and promote positive relationships with partners and vendors.
- Provide support on the documentation and administration of all business development processes.
- Be actively involved in building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Collaborate with technical and internal team members to ensure all solutions effectively meet customer needs.
- Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs to ensure continuous improvement and service alignment.
Skills And Experience Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Real Estate, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in the property and facilities management sector.
- Experience in business development, sales or account management is an advantage.
- Strong skills in networking, persuasion, prospecting and market research.
- Driven, ambitious and assertive character with a proactive, self-starting mindset.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Entrepreneurial individual dedicated to building business footprint from the ground up.
