What The Role Is

You support the management of MINDEF/SAF heritage assets including management of heritage artefacts, conservation of heritage buildings, engagement of the heritage community, and other initiatives relating to preservation and promotion of military heritage.

What You Will Be Working On

  • Conduct assessment and documentation of heritage assets
  • Maintain operations of Collections Management System including coordinating acquisition, accession and deaccessioning of artefacts
  • Maintain accurate records to support audits
  • Assist in heritage surveys and assessment of buildings
  • Provide administrative support for heritage activities and projects
  • Work closely with various internal and external stakeholders to support implementation of heritage activities and projects

    Challenge(s)
  • Engaging effectively with stakeholders at all levels whilst maintaining meticulous standards for heritage asset documentation and preservation

What We Are Looking For

  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience in heritage/history/administrative/procurement
  • Background in heritage, archival, history or logistics is advantageous
  • Team player with good interpersonal skills and ability to engage internal and external stakeholders
  • Meticulous
  • Ability to multi-task and work in dynamic and fast-paced environment
