Python Developer – AI/GenAI

Location: Singapore

Experience: 3–5 Years

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Python Developer with hands-on AI/Generative AI experience to join our technology team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have strong backend development skills in Python and practical experience building or integrating AI/ML and LLM-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python.
  • Build REST APIs and microservices using FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
  • Develop and integrate AI/ML and Generative AI solutions into applications.
  • Work with LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, embeddings, and vector databases.
  • Integrate AI/LLM APIs into enterprise applications.
  • Develop data processing and AI/ML pipelines.
  • Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-tested code.
  • Work closely with product managers, data scientists, and engineering teams.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize application performance and reliability.
  • Deploy applications using cloud platforms and modern DevOps practices.

Required Skills

  • 3–5 years of professional experience in Python development.
  • Strong knowledge of Python, OOP, data structures, and API development.
  • Hands-on experience with FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
  • Experience developing RESTful APIs and backend services.
  • Practical experience with AI/ML and Generative AI.
  • Good understanding of LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, and embeddings.
  • Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar frameworks.
  • Knowledge of vector databases such as FAISS, Pinecone, Weaviate, or Milvus.
  • Experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
  • Good understanding of Git and software development practices.

Good to Have

  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Knowledge of Docker and CI/CD.
  • Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn.
  • Knowledge of MLOps or deploying AI/ML models.
  • Experience with microservices architecture.
  • Exposure to Kafka, Redis, Elasticsearch, or similar technologies.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
