YC Capital is hiring a Tax Manager to bring our tax function in-house.

Quick context: YC Capital operates the "Ayam Gepuk Pak Gembus" brand — a fast-growing F&B group with a network of more than 100 outlets across Peninsular Malaysia, structured across 8 operating entities.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will own LHDN compliance and tax planning across 8 operating entities — CP204, SST, WHT, e-invoicing, and transfer-pricing documentation. You will also partner with our CFO on group tax workstreams as we scale through the next expansion phase.

Requirements:

• 6 years tax experience in Malaysian corporate tax practice — mid-tier, or senior in-house

• F&B / retail sector experience — (multi-outlet, royalty / licence / management fee arrangements, central kitchen TP considerations)

• Direct experience with LHDN e-invoicing rollout (practical, not theoretical)

• Transfer-pricing documentation experience

• CTIM qualification preferred; CA(M) / ACCA / CPA acceptable with strong tax practice exposure

This is a build-phase role — you will set up the function, working files, and Big 4 engagement protocol. Direct CFO partnership on the most strategic tax workstreams.
