We are looking for a hands-on and driven Event Manager to lead project execution while supervising a team of Event Executives. This role is ideal for someone from an event agency background who is capable of managing end-to-end events, supporting client servicing, and ensuring operational excellence across multiple projects. You will play a dual role: leading projects independently while guiding and reviewing the work of Senior Event Executives.

Key Responsibilities 1. Event Leadership & Execution

• Lead end-to-end event planning and execution across multiple projects
• Ensure all events are delivered on time, within scope, and meet client expectations
• Oversee on-site operations and act as escalation point during event execution
• Ensure quality control and consistency across all events

2. Team Supervision & Reporting

• Supervise and guide Senior Event Executives and Event Executives
• Review team deliverables including proposals, quotations, timelines, and reports
• Provide direction, feedback, and support to ensure smooth execution
• Consolidate updates and report project status to management

3. Client Management

• Act as key point of contact for clients for ongoing projects
• Understand client objectives and translate them into execution plans
• Support pitching, proposal development, and presentations
• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure high satisfaction

4. Project & Documentation Management

• Oversee preparation of proposals, quotations, timelines, and post-event reports
• Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and aligned with client requirements
• Maintain proper project tracking and workflow coordination
• Ensure compliance with internal processes and deadlines

5. Budgeting & Cost Management

• Prepare and review event costing and budgets
• Ensure profitability through cost control and efficient resource planning
• Monitor expenses and manage financial tracking for each project

6. Vendor & Operations Management

• Oversee vendor sourcing, negotiation, and coordination
• Ensure vendors deliver according to scope, timeline, and quality expectations
• Manage logistics, manpower, and operational planning

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in Event Management, Marketing, Mass Communication, or related field
• 4-8 years of experience in an event agency environment
• Proven experience in end-to-end event management
• Strong skills in proposal writing, costing, and budgeting
• Experience in client servicing and stakeholder management
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Strong leadership and team coordination skills
• Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
