We are seeking a Senior Executive, Risk Management to support the Head of Department and Manager in overseeing the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and Governance functions across the FIC Group and its subsidiaries. The successful candidate will coordinate risk management activities, strengthen the Group's risk framework, promote a risk-aware culture, and ensure key business risks are effectively identified, assessed, monitored, and reported.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework while coordinating enterprise-wide risk management activities and risk assessments.
- Identify, assess, monitor, and report strategic, operational, financial, and compliance risks, including preparing timely risk reports for Management and the Board.
- Review and enhance risk management policies, frameworks, and standard operating procedures to strengthen governance and risk controls.
- Assist in reviewing business proposals submitted to the Investment Committee and Board by conducting risk-return analysis and identifying key risk factors and mitigation measures.
- Collaborate with business units to develop sound business proposals with appropriate risk assessments while supporting effective risk management practices across the Group.
- Conduct risk awareness programmes, briefings, and training to promote a strong risk culture, while supporting the development of risk personnel and capabilities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience, preferably in Risk Management, with exposure to engineering, hospitality, natural resources, or related industries being an added advantage.
- Good understanding of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) principles, risk governance frameworks, and risk assessment methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in both English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken).
- High level of integrity, adaptability, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels.
