Full Time Account - Finance Assistant Jobs, Salary up to MYR 3,500 in OVERLAND TOTAL LOGISTIC SERVICE (M) SDN BHD Pulau Pinang - Maukerja

Job Summary:
The Account & Finance Assistant is responsible for supporting the finance department by preparing cash flow summaries, maintaining the petty cash fund, verifying payment vouchers, processing payments, and arranging for necessary approvals. The role also involves preparing bank reconciliation reports, managing inter-company fund transfers, ensuring compliance with regulations, and handling ad hoc assignments as directed.

Responsibilities:

a. Assisting assistant manager for preparing daily, weekly and monthly cash flow summary for management.

b. Maintaining the petty cash fund, disbursing funds for approved expenses, keeping accurate records of all transactions, and reconciling the petty cash fund on a regular basis

c. Verify payment voucher (SQL) attached with supporting documents prepared by payment requestor.

d. Prepare cheque, bank remittance form (domestic or oversea) or upload online payment transactions based on the payment voucher / payment request with approval from respective HOD/CEO/COO/CFO

e. Arrange for cheque signatories or approval on payment voucher before uploading the online banking transaction for the next level online authorization.

f. Prepare monthly bank reconciliation reports.

g. Arrange fund flow for inter-company fund requests including loan arrangement.

h. Ensure compliance of internal & external procedures / regulations / controls.

i. Preparing all kinds of reports assigned by superior from time to time.

j. Ad hoc assignment

Minimum Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a professional Certificate, Diploma/Advanced/Degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent.
• At least 1 year working experience in the related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Required skill(s): Knowledge of the banking industry and cash management is an added advantage.
• Demonstrated a commitment to continuous learning and development.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
