Overview:
OpenAI is exploring a secondment arrangement to provide continuity across key B2B content programs.
We are seeking an experienced project manager and generalist marketer who can be embedded within the OpenAI marketing team for four to five days per week, based in Singapore. The secondee will act as a dedicated point of contact across our webinar, customer case study, and event content programs.
This is primarily a program and project management role. The secondee will work with the APAC Content Lead during onboarding and handover. While the APAC Content Lead is on parental leave, they will work directly with the Head of B2B Marketing, who will set the strategy and priorities. The secondee will translate that direction into coordinated execution by connecting stakeholders, managing timelines and dependencies, and keeping projects moving through to completion.
What you'll do:
The following three areas are expected to be the primary focus of the engagement. However, the scope is not limited to these workstreams and may include project management support across other content marketing projects as business needs evolve.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
1. Webinar program management
- Own the end-to-end coordination and delivery of OpenAI’s B2B webinar program, including: Managing webinar plans, timelines, deliverables, owners, and dependencies.
- Coordinating landing pages and registration journeys, adapting US source content into promotional emails and social content, and working with Marketing Operations on email execution.
- Working with speakers on scheduling, briefings, rehearsals, and required content inputs.
- Facilitating live webinars through Goldcast, including speaker preparation and run-of-show coordination.
- Managing post-event reporting, Salesforce data uploads, attendee follow-up, and documentation of learnings.
2. Customer case study program management
- Manage the customer case study pipeline and coordinate each story from identification through publication, including:
- Maintaining the active and prospective case study pipeline in partnership with the APAC Content Lead, Head of B2B Marketing, and Sales teams.
- Coordinating customer introductions, participation, approvals, timelines, and required inputs.
- Acting as the primary conduit between OpenAI stakeholders and the content agency developing the case studies.
- Managing development and review cycles to keep each story aligned with the agreed brief, messaging, and timeline.
- Coordinating publication with the digital team and managing internal announcements for completed stories.
- The secondee will manage the process and stakeholder relationships. They will not be expected to write every case study from scratch.
3. Event content management
- Support the coordination and delivery of content for OpenAI B2B events, including: Building and maintaining content timelines, ownership plans, and key milestones.
- Facilitating speaker briefings and communicating event objectives, audiences, formats, and deliverables.
- Coordinating timely content inputs from speakers and internal stakeholders.
- Managing presentation development, review, and design timelines with the relevant teams.
- Tracking approvals and final asset delivery, identifying risks early, and escalating issues when support or decisions are required.
4. Broader content marketing support
- As priorities evolve, the secondee may also provide project management and coordination support across other content marketing initiatives. This may include establishing project plans, coordinating stakeholders and agency partners, tracking deliverables and approvals, identifying risks, and helping ensure projects are delivered on time and to brief.
- This responsibility is focused on project management and content coordination. The secondee may help shape or refine materials but will not generally be expected to create event presentations from scratch.
What are we looking for:
- An experienced project or account manager who can independently manage several concurrent workstreams.
- A generalist marketer with a practical understanding of content development, campaigns, webinars, and events.
- Highly organized and comfortable coordinating across internal teams, agency partners, speakers, customers, and sales stakeholders.
- A clear, proactive communicator who can surface risks, clarify ownership, and drive timely decisions.
- Familiar with B2B marketing programs and enterprise marketing environments, although they do not need to be a B2B marketing expert.
- Deep AI or technical product expertise is not required. However, the secondee should be comfortable using AI tools, as ChatGPT and Codex will play a significant role in supporting project management, content coordination, and workflows.
