Company Description Electrocorr Engineering Sdn. Bhd. (EESB) is a Malaysian-owned company established in 2002, specializing in cathodic protection, corrosion surveys, and corrosion control solutions and services. The company delivers complete project support, including design, engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning of Sacrificial Anode Cathodic Protection (SACP) and Impressed Current Cathodic Protection (ICCP) systems for pipelines, tank bottoms, and submerged structures such as marine piles and oil and gas platforms. EESB also focuses on auditing and monitoring existing plants and pipelines to assess current conditions and system performance. The team provides qualified engineering personnel to conduct surveys, obtain accurate results, and compile detailed client reports. Services include CIP surveys, DCVG coating defect surveys, AC interference mitigation, pipeline monitoring, and plant corrosion audits such as soil resistivity surveys and current drainage tests.

Role Description This is a full-time Cathodic Protection Engineer role based in Klang with a hybrid work arrangement. The role involves designing, reviewing, and implementing cathodic protection systems (SACP and ICCP) for pipelines, tanks, and submerged structures in accordance with industry standards and client specifications. Day-to-day tasks include conducting field surveys, measurements, and inspections for corrosion monitoring; analyzing data from CIP, DCVG, AC interference, and soil resistivity surveys; and preparing technical reports and recommendations. The engineer collaborates with project teams on engineering calculations, material selection, and layout drawings, and supports procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning activities. The role also requires direct communication with clients, participation in site meetings, and providing technical support for audits, troubleshooting, and system optimization.

Qualifications

• Strong technical skills in cathodic protection system design, corrosion control, and corrosion monitoring for pipelines, tanks, and submerged structures.
• Ability to perform and interpret field surveys such as CIP, DCVG, soil resistivity, AC interference, and current drainage tests.
• Proficiency in engineering calculations, data analysis, and use of relevant software tools for cathodic protection and corrosion engineering.
• Competence in preparing clear technical documentation, including design reports, survey findings, and commissioning records.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams and engaging with clients on technical matters.
• Relevant degree or diploma in Engineering (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Materials, or related field); certification in cathodic protection or corrosion engineering is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel to field sites, work in outdoor and industrial environments, and comply with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Experience
