Driver
Job Responsibilities

• Warmly greet and welcome patients and visitors.
• Assist patients with getting in and out of vehicles when needed.
• Safely collect, drive, and park patients’ or visitors’ vehicles.
• Provide friendly, courteous, and professional service.
• Assist patients and visitors with directions to the appropriate hospital entrance or department.
• Fetch patients/customers from their place to the AHNS and vice versa or to any other place as required.
• Fetch staff that are required transport for official duty from their place to AHNS and vice versa or to any other place.
• Responsible for cleaning and maintaining vehicles in good condition.
• Complete a mechanical checklist daily before each shift to ensure the vehicle is in working order and ready to transport patients and to report mechanical issues to the superior.
• Record every trip’s detail in the transport requisition form.
• Responsible for handling parking valet AHNS (Car Jockey), including greeting the guests upon arrival and providing customer service by parking and retrieving their vehicle.
• Able to analyse information and choose the best and shortest route in transporting patients/hospital staff to their destination.
• Must be willing to work on weekends or public holidays if assigned by the management.
• Willing to work on standby or on-call if assigned by the management.
• To assist in transferring the deceased to the mortuary.
• Any other ad-hoc assignments or projects as when required by the management.
• Need to drive the Buggy as per the advised route and abide by the rules in the AHNS SOP.
• Cultivate strong relationships with other drivers to reduce stress when there are last-minute schedule changes.
• Undertake any other tasks and special assignments as directed by the superior or management.

Requirements

· Minimum qualification SPM or its equivalent

· Valid driver’s license

· Minimum 2 Years Experience In transport/logistic department

• Good command of both written & spoken in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Possess BLS (Basic Life Support) certificate.
• Map reading ability.
• Strong knowledge of the roadways throughout the immediate area.

· No criminal record & No bad record with Road Transportation Department Malaysia

· Able to work in shifts/overtime

· Healthy physically and mentally

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
