Role Purpose
The Sales Specialist is a highly execution-focused role responsible for driving successful presale campaigns for new club openings and providing intensive sales support before and after launch. The position operates as a Sales Task Force and may be deployed wherever additional sales strength is required.
The role takes ownership of assigned targets, builds strong lead pipelines, develops corporate and community opportunities, executes local sales activities and works hands-on with club teams to achieve membership results.
Key Responsibilities1. Presale Sales Execution
· Own assigned presale membership targets for new club openings.
· Develop and execute a complete presale game plan from launch through club opening.
· Translate final targets into clear daily, weekly and monthly sales requirements.
· Maintain sales momentum, identify gaps early and implement immediate corrective actions.
· Drive urgency during critical presale periods to maximise membership acquisition.
2. Lead Generation
· Build a continuous pipeline through corporate partnerships, offices, residential communities, retail businesses, educational institutions, community organisations, roadshows, activations, referrals, digital enquiries, walk-ins and outbound prospecting.
· Continuously identify new and creative lead-generation opportunities rather than relying solely on incoming enquiries.
· Track lead sources and focus activity on channels producing qualified prospects and stronger conversion.
3. Corporate Sales & Partnerships
· Identify corporate accounts and decision-makers within each club catchment.
· Conduct corporate presentations, membership activations and partnership discussions.
· Develop sustainable corporate lead channels for current and future clubs.
4. Sales Conversion
· Conduct professional membership presentations and club tours.
· Follow up leads consistently through calls, messaging, digital channels and appointments.
· Convert enquiries into appointments, trials and memberships while maintaining disciplined follow-up.
· Handle objections confidently and maximise conversion from every available lead source.
5. Sales Task Force – All Clubs
· Support new club presales and newly opened clubs during critical ramp-up periods.
· Assist clubs that are behind target through focused recovery plans and intensive lead generation.
· Support major sales campaigns and share successful practices across clubs.
· Travel or temporarily deploy to different club locations based on business requirements.
6. Post-Opening Sales Support
· Maintain sales momentum following club opening.
· Support transition from presale activities into normal club sales operations.
· Strengthen lead pipelines, follow-up discipline and sustainable local lead-generation channels.
7. Sales Tracking & Reporting
· Maintain accurate reporting of leads, lead sources, appointments, show-ups, walk-ins, membership sales, conversion rates, corporate opportunities and sales forecasts.
· Provide regular performance updates, identify risks and recommend corrective actions.

· Presale membership target achievement.
· Individual and assigned club membership sales achievement.

· Lead-to-appointment and lead-to-membership conversion.
· Corporate partnerships, activations and corporate leads generated.

Success Profile
The successful Sales Specialist actively creates opportunities, builds pipelines, develops partnerships, executes the agreed game plan and takes ownership of delivering the required sales result.
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Johor Bahru
