Responsibilities:

• Provide application support for Java/J2EE applications.

• Perform troubleshooting and support using Unix commands and SQL queries.

• Support web applications and batch jobs.

• Work with technologies including JBOSS, MariaDB, SQL and Shell scripting.

• Perform job scheduling and MQ setup.

• Take ownership of assigned tasks and ensure SLAs are met without compromising work quality.

• Work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with relevant stakeholders.

• Continuously learn and develop technical knowledge to support the applications effectively.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in an application support role. Developers with good knowledge of Java, Unix and SQL who are willing to learn may also be considered.

• Recent experience working with Java/J2EE applications and experience with Java/J2EE programming.

• Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux commands and SQL queries.

• Knowledge of web applications, batch jobs, JBOSS, MariaDB, SQL and Shell scripting.

• Knowledge of job scheduling and MQ setup

• Exposure to the banking industry is an added advantage.

• Graduate with a Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field.

• Strong willingness and eagerness to learn and develop new skills.

• Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Strong sense of ownership and commitment to delivering quality work.

• Able to work shifts as required
