The Bookkeeping and accounting executive manages daily financial records, reconciles accounts, and helps prepare periodic financial reports for a business.

Core Job Responsibilities

• Transaction Recording: Record daily sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal entries into the accounting system.
• Accounts Payable & Receivable (AP/AR): Issue invoices, monitor customer collections, process vendor bills, and prepare payment proposals.
• Account Reconciliations: Perform monthly reconciliations for bank statements, credit cards, and general ledger accounts.
• Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing monthly management accounts, cash flow projections, and basic financial statements.
• Audit & Tax Support: Prepare audit schedules for annual statutory audits and assist with basic tax compliance or filings.
• Record Maintenance: Maintain organized physical and digital filing systems for all financial documents.

Key Requirements

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: 1 to 3 years of practical experience in bookkeeping or general accounting.
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and common accounting software, strong numerical accuracy, and attention to detail.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
