Position: Full-Time Cook

Location: Central, Singapore

Employment Type: Full-Time

Working Hours: 44 hours per week, including weekends and public holidays where required

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Cook to join our café team.

You will be responsible for preparing food consistently to our recipes and standards, while maintaining a clean, organised and efficient kitchen.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and cook food according to established recipes and presentation standards.
• Handle food preparation, cooking and plating during service.
• Ensure food quality, consistency and portion control.
• Assist with daily kitchen preparation and mise en place.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and equipment.
• Monitor food supplies and inform the supervisor of stock requirements.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace safety standards.
• Assist with receiving and proper storage of ingredients.
• Minimise food wastage and maintain good kitchen practices.
• Work closely with the café team to ensure smooth daily operations.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience as a Cook in a café, restaurant or similar food establishment preferred.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques.
• Able to follow recipes and maintain consistency.
• Good understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, punctual and responsible.
• Positive attitude and good teamwork.
• Able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays when required.
• Food Hygiene Certificate is an advantage.
