Position Overview

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring smooth operation, preventive maintenance, and timely repair of production machinery in a fast-paced FMCG food manufacturing environment. This role is critical to minimizing downtime, safeguarding product quality, and supporting continuous production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Machine Maintenance

Perform routine preventive maintenance and servicing of production machinery to ensure optimal performance.

Troubleshooting & Repair

Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, carry out corrective repairs, and restore equipment functionality quickly.

Production Support

Provide immediate technical support during production runs to minimize downtime and maintain output targets.

Safety & Compliance

Adhere to workplace safety standards, food industry compliance requirements, and proper handling of tools and equipment.

Documentation

Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, breakdowns, repairs, and spare parts usage.

Continuous Improvement

Suggest and implement improvements to enhance machine efficiency, reduce breakdowns, and extend equipment lifespan.

Requirements

Education: Diploma/Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.

Experience: 2–4 years in machinery maintenance within FMCG or manufacturing industries.

Technical Skills: Knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical troubleshooting, PLC basics, and preventive maintenance practices.

Soft Skills: Problem-solving, teamwork, and ability to work under pressure.

Work Style: Hands-on, detail-oriented, and proactive in preventing production disruptions.

Pay: RM3,200.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
