About Us

P&L Holding Sdn Bhd is a growing food company focused on dehydrated vegetables, convenient meal toppings, and innovative food products.

As we establish our new factory and build our team, we are looking for a hands-on, curious R&D professional to grow with us. You will help develop products from initial ideas through to commercial production, with opportunities to shape our R&D processes and future product range.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop dehydrated vegetables, meal toppings, and new food products through formulation and hands-on trials.

• Optimise processing methods, including pretreatment, drying, and rehydration, to improve colour, texture, flavour, and consistency.

• Plan and coordinate moisture, water activity, shelf-life, and packaging evaluations, including external laboratory testing where needed.

• Document trial results and establish product specifications, formulations, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

• Support production trials and scale-up, addressing quality, cost, and processing challenges.

• Work closely with the founding team to turn consumer needs and product ideas into market-ready products.

What We’re Looking For

• Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.

• Relevant experience in food R&D or food processing. Experience with vegetable processing, dehydration, or shelf-life testing is an advantage.

• A hands-on approach, with the ability to organise experiments, analyse results, and follow through on improvements.

• A proactive, responsible mindset and willingness to help build processes in a growing company.
