Regional Project Manager - Data Centres / M&E

Take responsibility for project delivery from bid stage through to practical completion, with ownership of safety, programme, quality and commercial performance.

This role suits a Project Manager with a construction and mechanical or electrical background, international experience, and knowledge of the data centre sector. You’ll lead the delivery team, work closely with customers and specialist subcontractors, and keep projects moving while protecting profitability.
The role

• Lead health and safety across the project, working with senior management and the central H&S team to communicate clear expectations.
• Support bids by reviewing scope, delivery requirements and risks to help develop achievable, profitable proposals.
• Manage pre-construction planning, including scope reviews and installation methods.
• Deliver projects in line with ISO requirements and company processes.
• Set clear objectives and responsibilities for the project team.
• Manage specialist subcontractors to ensure work is delivered safely, to specification and on programme.
• Build effective supply chain relationships and resolve delivery issues or disputes.
• Work with the commercial lead to manage costs, mitigate risks and identify opportunities to improve project performance.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and provide accurate, regular progress reports.

What you’ll bring

• Experience managing construction and M&E projects, with knowledge of data centres and associated services.
• Significant international experience.
• Strong leadership skills and experience managing project teams and subcontractors.
• Commercial awareness, including project costing and profit and loss.
• PMP certification or an equivalent project management qualification.
• Relevant health and safety and site accreditations, or local/regional equivalents.
• Confidence using Microsoft Project, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

A relevant degree in engineering, project management, business administration or a related subject is preferred. Substantial trade experience is also valued.
Certified Data Centre Project Manager (CDCPM) certification or equivalent proven data centre project experience is desirable.
