About the Role

Join a well-established global manufacturer and support the Plating Department in workforce administration, chemical and EHS compliance, purchasing, utility monitoring, 6S activities and audit preparation.

Location: Jalan Buroh
Transport: Company transport from Boon Lay MRT
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, office hours

Responsibilities

• Monitor employee attendance, leave records and payroll discrepancies, coordinating with HR when necessary.
• Prepare documentation for new hires, resignations, exit clearances and Work Permit renewals.
• Manage the issuance and inventory of uniforms and PPE.
• Maintain the chemical warehouse and accurate chemical stock movement records.
• Purchase chemicals, production supplies, MRO items, PPE and office consumables.
• Raise purchase requisitions, purchase orders and service entry sheets.
• Coordinate chemical waste disposal and required NEA e-tracking submissions.
• Conduct safety and 6S inspections, follow up on findings and maintain the 6S visual board.
• Record daily electricity and water consumption and prepare monthly reports.
• Identify unusual consumption patterns, possible leaks or safety concerns and escalate accordingly.
• Prepare documents for ISO 45001, IATF 16949, EHS and regulatory audits.
• Maintain records for MOM, NEA and other government inspections.
• Liaise with HR, Production, Safety, Purchasing, suppliers and other departments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum GCE O-Level, NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma or equivalent.
• Relevant experience in manufacturing operations, administration, EHS coordination or purchasing.
• Experience in plating, chemical or industrial manufacturing will be advantageous.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Familiarity with attendance, purchasing, inventory or ERP systems is advantageous.
• Organised, detail-oriented and comfortable supporting shop-floor operations.
• Knowledge of 6S, ISO 45001, IATF 16949 or chemical safety will be advantageous.
