Igotopia is looking for an ambitious, organised and curious Finance, People & Operations Executive to join our growing international technology group in Kuala Lumpur.

This is a broad role for someone who wants to do more than process invoices, update spreadsheets or follow established procedures.

You'll work directly with the management team across finance, HR, recruitment, payroll, compliance and business operations, while gaining exposure to technology, AI, automation, SaaS and international hospitality businesses.

You'll be trusted with real responsibility from the beginning, encouraged to suggest better ways of doing things and given the opportunity to take ownership.

About Igotopia

Igotopia is a growing technology and innovation group building and operating businesses across multiple industries.

One of our businesses, Gecko Digital, creates immersive digital experiences for some of the world's most prestigious luxury hotels and resorts, producing 360 virtual tours, photography, videography and technology platforms used by hospitality brands around the world.

We're also developing new technology products and businesses across AI, automation, SaaS, hospitality technology and digital media.

You'll be joining a technology group rather than a traditional finance or HR department. You'll see how different businesses operate from the inside while helping build the financial, people and operational infrastructure behind them.

The Opportunity

We're looking for someone who can help keep the people and financial side of the business running smoothly.

You'll work closely with management and take responsibility for a broad range of finance, HR and administrative functions across Igotopia and its businesses.

You don't need to know everything on day one. We're more interested in your attitude, organisation, attention to detail, communication skills and willingness to learn.

The role will evolve as the company grows, and we're looking for someone who wants to grow with it.

One day you could be reviewing financial reports and preparing management accounts.

The next, you could be coordinating payroll, helping recruit a new team member, preparing employment documentation, dealing with a tax or compliance matter, improving an internal process or solving an operational problem.

No two days will be exactly the same - and that's part of the opportunity.

What You'll Be Responsible For

Finance

• Manage day-to-day financial activities including accounting, budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
• Maintain accurate financial records and monitor cash flow and expenses.
• Prepare financial reports and provide insights to management.
• Support financial planning and decision-making.
• Coordinate payroll administration, tax filing and audit processes.
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and company policies.
• Work with external accountants, auditors and tax advisers.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, systems and controls.

People & HR

• Oversee payroll, employee benefits and compensation matters.
• Maintain employee records, contracts and HR documentation.
• Coordinate recruitment, onboarding and training.
• Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with relevant Malaysian employment and labour laws.
• Handle employee questions and concerns professionally and confidentially.
• Support staff welfare and improve the overall employee experience.

Administration & Operations

• Manage day-to-day administrative requirements and office operations.
• Coordinate with external suppliers, consultants and service providers.
• Maintain company documentation and records.
• Help develop and improve internal systems and processes.
• Assist management with operational and administrative projects.
• Identify inefficiencies and suggest better ways of working.

Previous experience in a combined finance/HR role would be useful, but attitude and potential are just as important to us as your CV.
