Role Description The Warehouse Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Penang. This role oversees daily warehouse operations, including inventory planning, stock allocation, receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and dispatch activities to ensure efficient and accurate order fulfillment. The Warehouse Manager is responsible for supervising warehouse teams, managing shift schedules, enforcing safety and compliance standards, and coordinating with transport and logistics teams to support on-time deliveries. The role includes monitoring KPIs, optimizing warehouse layout and processes, implementing continuous improvement initiatives, and maintaining accurate documentation and system records. The Warehouse Manager also collaborates with internal stakeholders and customers to address operational issues, support audits, and uphold high service quality standards.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Stock Control and Inventory Control skills to maintain accurate stock levels and minimize discrepancies.
• Candidates should possess Inventory Management expertise, including demand planning, cycle counting, and reconciliation.
• Candidates should possess Operations Management skills to oversee warehouse processes, workforce allocation, and performance against KPIs.
• Candidates should possess safe Forklift Operation capabilities and familiarity with material handling equipment and warehouse safety practices.
• Candidates should possess experience with warehouse management or ERP systems, data analysis for process improvement, and reporting.
• Candidates should possess strong leadership, team supervision, and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to train and develop team members.
• Candidates should possess effective communication and coordination skills to work with logistics, procurement, and customer service teams.
• Candidates should possess a diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain, operations management, or a related field; prior experience in a high-volume warehouse or logistics environment is highly beneficial.
