Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Service Technician role based in Ampang. The Service Technician will perform installation, maintenance, and repair of medical beds and related accessories at customer locations and within the facility. Responsibilities include diagnosing technical issues, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults, and ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently. The role involves field service visits, coordinating with hospital staff and internal teams, documenting service activities, and providing clear guidance on equipment use and basic upkeep. The Service Technician will also support continuous improvement in service processes and uphold company standards for quality, safety, and customer experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Biomedical / Electrical / Electronic / Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or related field.
• 1–3 years experience in technical/field service or equipment maintenance preferred.
• Strong maintenance and repair capabilities, including hands-on maintenance and preventative service for medical or mechanical equipment.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting technical issues, identifying root causes, and implementing effective corrective actions.
• Experience in field service work, including on-site equipment servicing and support at customer facilities.
• Solid customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, manage expectations, and build professional relationships with healthcare staff.
• Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge; ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, or schematics is an advantage.
• Attention to detail, strong problem-solving mindset, and commitment to safety and quality standards.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing schedules or service priorities.
