Main Responsibilities

Team Management & Leadership

Leading, coaching, and mentoring a team of Supervisors & Associates. Inspire and motivate your team to work towards a collective goal

Collaborating closely with the Human Resource department, champion employee engagement and promote a collaborative and inclusive environment for a robust team of Part- and Full-timers

Continuously conduct succession planning for all stores by external hiring, or foster internal career development and growth by building the skills and capabilities of existing team members

Ensure compliance with the company’s policies on people and operational guidelines

Deal with all issues that arise from staff or customers (complaints, grievances etc). Ensure resolution of escalated complaints and assist in recovery where appropriate

Retail Operational Performance

Oversee general store administration and ensure compliance with policies and procedures and all CAG rules & regulations concerning store operating procedures and opening hours.

Proactively monitor store inventory levels and ensure stores are optimising inventory as required. Ensure sound inventory management practices to achieve the highest level of inventory accuracy and manage all Stock Taking exercises at several intervals in the year

Set standards and objectives for store teams to ensure a seamless and smooth customer experience; inspire and enable the team to provide a top notch and considerate service to all customers through training and mentoring

Conduct manpower resource planning for all stores; manage shift schedules and retail staff budget to achieve optimal staffing levels for excellence in the brand's customer experience, according to peak hours, days, and seasons

Lead and manage teams to achieve brand profitability

Ensure that the assigned retail stores are efficiently operated to maximize sales and profitability

Develop strategies to enhance the store customer experience and drive sales performance to achieve forecasted sales and performance growth of the business

Ensuring a stable, quality retail team and low turnover

Set sales targets and implement action plans required to achieve targets

Responsible for development of frontline staff

Review and address retail staff performance issues in a timely and effective manner

Ensure staff compliance with company SOPs

Requirements

* Minimum GCE O level .

* Minimum 5 years in retail watch/jewelry industry with minimum 3 years in the Store Manager role is desirable.
