Books For A Better World Sdn. Bhd. (BFBW) is a for-profit social enterprise founded in 2022 with a mission to promote literacy and reduce book waste. We operate multiple second-hand bookstores and book corners across the Klang Valley, run community literacy programmes, partner with local organisations, and maintain donation boxes for used books. Every book sold or donated helps build a more literate and sustainable community.

We are looking for an Operations Assistant to get their hands dirty and help keep our day-to-day book movements running smoothly.

1. Heavy Lifting & Sorting: Pack, sort, label, load, and unload boxes of books. Think of it as a gym membership that pays you.

2. Store & Booth Support: Help set up pop-up booths, book fairs, and retail displays—lifting shelves, arranging books, and making things look great.

3. Driver’s Sidekick (or Main Driver): Travel around the Klang Valley to help collect, transport, and distribute books to our various outlets and donation points.

4. Keep Things Organized: Maintain stock in our workspace so we always know where the next batch of books is going.

5. Daily Teamwork: Work closely with the Senior Operations Executive and Founder to tackle whatever logistics chaos the day throws at us.

You Are Probably A Fit If…

· You hold at least an SPM certificate (or equivalent) and general knowledge.

· You have a valid driving license and are comfortable navigating Klang Valley roads.

· You are physically fit, energetic, and don't complain when there are 200 boxes to move on a Monday morning.

· You are dependable, show up on time, and take pride in doing a task well.

· You genuinely care about community impact, literacy, or at least love books.

· You are a nice person who fits into a close-knit, hard-working team.
No prior experience in book logistics required—we will train you! You just need a strong work ethic, a good attitude, and a readiness to learn

Pay: RM100.00 per day
