Role Description This contract Electrical Engineer role is based in Seremban with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing a combination of on-site and work-from-home days. The Electrical Engineer will design, review, and optimize electrical systems for various projects. Daily responsibilities include preparing design calculations, drawings, and specifications; coordinating with engineers from other disciplines; submission to and liaison with authorities; and ensuring compliance with relevant standards, codes, and safety regulations. The role involves participating in site visits, supporting installation and commissioning activities, and resolving technical issues during project execution. The Electrical Engineer will also prepare technical reports, support client presentations, and collaborate with project teams to meet quality, budget, and schedule requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering, with practical understanding of electricity and its application in infrastructure projects. Min experience of 5 years.
• Proficiency in Electrical Design for building services and infrastructure, including preparation of layouts, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Experience with Power Distribution systems, including load calculations, protection coordination, and equipment selection.
• Knowledge of Power Systems analysis, reliability, and safety, with familiarity in relevant standards and codes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organization skills with attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience in civil or infrastructure projects and use of electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, power system analysis tools) is an advantage.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid arrangement based in Seremban and to attend site visits as required.
