Job Summary

Responsibilities
Assist in designing and executing electrical building services to meet project specifications and standards
Perform cable sizing and voltage drop calculations to ensure electrical system safety and efficiency
Support project planning by scheduling tasks and coordinating manpower to meet deadlines
Collaborate with project teams, consultants, and clients to facilitate smooth project delivery
Assist in testing, commissioning, and power turn-on activities to verify system functionality
Prepare material take-offs and contribute to tender and estimation processes to support project bids
Monitor project progress and provide timely updates to the Project Manager for effective decision-making
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Knowledge of local electrical codes (SS 568, SS 560) to ensure compliance with regulations
Experience in cable sizing, earthing, and lightning protection system design for safe electrical installations
Experience in cost estimation or tender preparation processes to support project bidding
Familiarity with AutoCAD software for preparing electrical drawings and documentation
Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders
Proactive attitude with willingness to learn and take responsibility in project tasks
