Role Description The Trainee Credit Analyst role is a full-time, on-site position based in Nibong Tebal, Penang Malaysia. The role involves the evaluation of credit applications by analysing financial statements, cash flows, and collateral to assess creditworthiness. The Trainee Credit Analyst will support the preparation of credit reports, documentation, and recommendations in line with the Bank’s credit policies and risk guidelines. Daily responsibilities include conducting sales & marketing activities on top of the evaluation of creditworthiness of customers, monitoring existing credit facilities, and highlighting potential risks. The role also requires collaboration with relationship managers and other internal teams to ensure accurate information, timely approvals, and high standards of customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in any field or equivalent. Fresh Graduates are welcome.
• Candidates with strong Credit Management and Credit assessment skills, with an interest in developing expertise in lending and risk evaluation will be added advantages.
• Candidates should possess good Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency in common office software (e.g., spreadsheets, word processing) and willingness to learn banking systems will be beneficial.
• Possesses own transport.
