I'm partnering with an international premium homeware business on a key hire for their Singapore operation. They represent two well-known, award-winning brands in the kitchen space, both trusted by home cooks and professionals alike, and sold across major marketplaces and department stores in Singapore, and are looking to find someone to own and grow their Singapore retail business.

The role

The business runs through Singapore's leading department stores on a consignment basis, supported by its own in-store promoter team. You'll own the accounts, lead the promoters and make sure every store is selling, looking and performing at its best.

What you'll own

• Sales growth across key department store accounts
• Relationships with buyers and store management: listings, assortment reviews, launches and promotional planning
• Sell-through, stock productivity and replenishment across the consignment business, working with the 3PL
• Leading a team of in-store promoters: scheduling, targets, product training, coaching, and attracting new talent to the team
• Promotions, demos, in-store events and launches, with regular store visits to keep execution sharp
• Sales, margin and inventory reporting, with forecasts and recommendations to management

About you

• Retail sales, key account or consumer goods experience in Singapore, typically 3 to 6 years, though I'm open to more experienced retail professionals who want to get back to hands-on, in-store work
• Department store, consignment or premium brand experience preferred
• You've managed or worked closely with promoters or frontline sales teams, and know how to motivate them
• A natural relationship builder who's commercially driven and happy to be accountable for results
• Independent and proactive, and genuinely happy spending regular time in stores
• Cookware, kitchen, home or lifestyle experience is a plus

• SGD 4,000 to 5,000 base, plus a milestone-based performance incentive after the initial period
