Responsibilities

• Oversee the full spectrum of accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and financial reporting.
• Review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Analyse revenue, costs, profitability and cash flow to support business planning and management decisions.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and cost control initiatives.
• Develop and strengthen financial policies, internal controls and accounting procedures.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), tax requirements and applicable regulations.
• Monitor financial performance and provide financial insights to management.
• Coordinate annual audits, internal audits and other financial reviews.
• Work closely with management and department heads on financial planning and operational matters.
• Lead and supervise accounting staff, including reviewing work and improving accounting processes.
• Support management in financial risk management and business planning.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and relevant tax regulations.
• Proficient in accounting software and financial reporting systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and financial management skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in managing and supervising an accounting team.
• Able to manage complex financial matters, multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
• Flexible to work on weekends and public holidays when required.
