During your employment as an Associate/Senior Associate, you will assist in the preparation of financial reports for regulated investment funds and investment vehicles domiciled in the Cayman Islands, Singapore, Hong Kong, the British Virgin Islands, Australia, the United States, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Luxembourg, France, and other jurisdictions.

What you will be doing
Prepare supporting schedules, working papers, and financial statement disclosures using Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools
Prepare financial statements for a portfolio of investment funds and investment vehicles in accordance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements
Assist in ensuring financial statements are prepared accurately, completely, and in accordance with internal quality standards and client deadlines
Present completed financial statements to senior team members for review and incorporate feedback in a timely manner
Support the planning of financial reporting engagements while managing multiple client deadlines
Liaise with investment managers, fund administrators, auditors, and other external service providers to obtain information and resolve financial reporting queries
Research accounting issues and complex transactions to determine the appropriate accounting treatment under relevant GAAP and IFRS standards
Contribute to continuous process improvements and assist with ad hoc projects as required
What you will need
Related Honours degree
Excellent communication skills
Ability to plan, prioritise between tasks and adhere to strict time deadlines
Ability to work on own initiative
Some industry experience in an accounting role would be an advantage
Academic knowledge of IFRS and GAAP would be an advantage
Proficient in Microsoft Office 365
A keen interest in learning and in career progression
