Job Summary

Responsible for providing application programming and technical support services, including application maintenance, source-code updates, system improvements, troubleshooting, testing, documentation and user support.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform application maintenance, technical support and programming enhancements.
• Carry out preventive maintenance (PM) to improve system stability, security, performance and maintainability.
• Perform corrective maintenance (CM) to resolve errors, bugs, defects, functional failures and operational issues.
• Perform perfective maintenance to improve application efficiency, usability, performance and user experience.
• Perform adaptive maintenance to ensure application compatibility with changes in technology environment, platforms, operating systems, third-party software and ICT security requirements.
• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) together with the relevant stakeholders after maintenance activities.
• Prepare documentation for application maintenance activities.
• Ensure applications integrating with AWS Transcribe operate properly.
• Ensure applications using OpenAI operate properly.
• Provide user training and system demonstrations.
• Monitor unresolved issues and report progress on maintenance and critical issue resolution.
• Attend relevant meetings and obtain agreement for matters requiring further action.
• Provide technical support in accordance with the applicable Service Level Agreement (SLA).

Requirements

• Malaysian citizen.
• Minimum Diploma in Software Engineering, Computer Science or other relevant application development-related fields.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant programming experience, excluding internship.
• Experience in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and programming languages such
• as: PHP, Python, Java, JavaScript
• Minimum 3 years of experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) such as: Drupal, WordPress, Joomla, Liferay, KOHA, Statamic
• Minimum 3 years of experience with databases, particularly: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, MSSQL
• Minimum 3 years of experience with mobile application frameworks, particularly: Ionic, Flutter

Preferred Skills

• Preference will be given to candidates who have:
• At least one professional certification in Open-Source programming, such as PHP or Python.
• Strong knowledge of: Laravel, Yii, Flutter, Git
• Familiarity with: Linux, Windows Server, Kubernetes, Rancher, MinIO, Docker, Docker Swarm, Kong, Grafana, GlitchTip, Keycloak
