About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement & Sourcing Coordinator to join our team.

This role is responsible for sourcing medical and healthcare products, coordinating with suppliers, comparing quotations, supporting sales operations and ensuring procurement activities are completed accurately and on time.

We are looking for someone who can work independently, take ownership of tasks and follow up without constant supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Source medical, healthcare, veterinary and related products from local and overseas suppliers.
• Identify and develop new supplier relationships.
• Request, collect and compare supplier quotations.
• Evaluate pricing, MOQ, lead time, payment terms, availability and product specifications.
• Negotiate pricing and commercial terms with suppliers where appropriate.
• Follow up with suppliers and ensure outstanding matters are resolved promptly.
• Source alternative suppliers or products when required.
• Prepare quotation and costing information for the sales team.
• Check product specifications, pricing and costing before quotations are issued.
• Process and coordinate purchase orders and supplier documentation.
• Coordinate with suppliers, customers, warehouse and logistics.
• Maintain updated supplier, product and pricing databases.
• Maintain proper filing of quotations, purchase orders and related documents.
• Prepare purchasing and sales-related reports.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Procurement, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Business Administration or a related field.
• Experience in the medical/healthcare industry is an advantage.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets.
• Strong attention to detail, especially when handling pricing, numbers and product specifications.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong follow-up and organisational skills.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Proactive and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Responsible, organised and willing to learn.
