Marketing Intern

A dedicated community health organization committed to making a difference, to deliver vital first aid training, essential community health services and specialized dementia care. As we expand our reach and connect more people with our life-changing programs, we are looking for a passionate Marketing Intern to support our communications and community outreach.

What You Will Do

• Content Creation: Craft engaging content for social media platforms, digital newsletters, and targeted marketing campaigns.

• Graphic Design: Design simple, high-quality marketing collaterals for upcoming programs, courses, and community events.

• Event Promotion: Support event marketing from the initial planning stages to live, on-the-ground coverage.

• Digital Maintenance: Update our website and manage content scheduling calendars to ensure brand consistency.

• Admin & Reports: Assist with basic marketing administration, including tracking digital engagement metrics and compiling performance reports.

• Coordination: Liaise with external vendors and partners to coordinate the production of marketing materials and event signage.

• Internal Communications: Support internal engagement by drafting newsletters and updates for our dedicated staff and volunteers.

• Ad Hoc Projects: Pitch in on diverse, up-coming marketing projects.

Who We Are Looking For:

• Aspiring Marketer: A strong interest in marketing, public relations, communications, or the non-profit sector.

• Tech & Design Savvy: Familiarity with major social media platforms and basic design software like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.

• Strong Communicator: Excellent written communication skills, a sharp eye for detail, and a gift for storytelling.

• Organized Multitasker: Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple small tasks and deadlines simultaneously.

• Proactive Team Player: A self-starter who is comfortable asking questions, seeking feedback, and flagging problems early.

• Mission-Driven: A genuine interest in healthcare, elderly care, or community-based non-profit work is a major plus.
