About the Role:

As the Head of Finance, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing financial operations and ensuring compliance across multiple countries. Reporting directly to the leadership team, you will lead finance initiatives, driving strategic decision-making and contributing to the company's growth trajectory.

Responsibilities:

Financial Management:

• Develop and implement financial strategies to support business objectives and ensure financial health.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Analyse financial data and provide insights to inform strategic decisions.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial statements and reports.

Compliance and Risk Management:

• Ensure compliance with taxation laws and regulations in all relevant jurisdictions.
• Establish and maintain internal controls to mitigate financial risks.
• Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and adjust policies and procedures accordingly.
• Lead audits and liaise with auditors to ensure compliance and address any findings.

Team Leadership and Development:

• Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
• Develop and mentor team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
• Delegate tasks effectively and manage workload to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial objectives with overall business goals.

Strategic Planning:

• Partner with the executive team to develop long-term financial strategies and plans.
• Conduct financial analysis to evaluate investment opportunities and potential risks.
• Identify areas for cost optimization and efficiency improvement.
• Support the development and execution of strategic initiatives to drive business growth.

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including investors,
• lenders, and regulatory authorities.
• Communicate financial performance and forecasts effectively to stakeholders.
• Represent the finance function in meetings and discussions with key decision-makers.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA) is preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and taxation laws.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing financial strategies to drive business growth.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
• Proficiency in financial management software and Microsoft Excel.
