Responsibilities:

Contract and Commercial Management

  • Take overall ownership of the assigned facilities management contract, P&L, budgeting, revenue, profitability and cost control.
  • Ensure contractual obligations, service levels, KPIs and financial targets are consistently achieved.
  • Drive effective commercial governance, scope management, change control and financial reporting.
  • Manage suppliers and contractors, including performance reviews, negotiations, re-bidding and cost optimisation.
  • Identify and develop opportunities for additional scope, extra works and projects, including preparation of commercial proposals and pricing.


Facilities Management and Operations

  • Lead day-to-day delivery of hard and soft FM services, including preventive and reactive maintenance, engineering, vendor services and helpdesk operations.
  • Ensure site operations comply with contractual, regulatory, health & safety and company requirements.
  • Monitor and improve service quality, operational efficiency and KPI/SLA performance.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, audits and quality assurance reviews, implementing corrective actions where required.
  • Drive proactive maintenance and operational planning to minimise downtime, disruption and operational risks.
  • Maintain and review emergency response, business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
  • Client and Stakeholder Management
  • Act as the key point of contact for the client on operational, contractual and service-related matters.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, senior stakeholders, internal teams and service partners.
  • Lead monthly, quarterly and annual business reviews, providing performance updates and recommendations.
  • Understand client objectives and develop initiatives to improve customer satisfaction and service delivery.


Leadership and People Management

  • Lead, manage and develop a high-performing multidisciplinary FM team, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management and succession planning.
  • Ensure appropriate manpower and staffing structures are in place to support operational requirements while maintaining service quality and cost efficiency.
  • Identify training and development needs and foster a culture of employee engagement, collaboration and continuous improvement.


Innovation and Business Growth

  • Drive continuous improvement, process optimisation and technology adoption to enhance service quality, efficiency and customer experience.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, vendors and subject matter experts to develop innovative solutions and share best practices.
  • Support contract renewal and retention strategies while identifying opportunities for account growth and expansion.
  • Represent the site/account during customer visits and support business development activities where required.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business, Property Management or a related discipline preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in facilities management, contract management, property management, engineering operations or related fields.
  • Prior experience in team leadership / supervisory or managerial roles.
  • Strong knowledge of hard and soft facilities management, building operations and maintenance.
  • Experience in contract management, P&L, budgeting, cost control and commercial management.
  • Proven experience managing clients, vendors, contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong communication, presentation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organisational skills with a proactive, customer-focused and commercially minded approach.
